INFIRMARY

INFIRMARY

Welcome to the Infirmary at Cambridge Convent School, where the health and well-being of our students are our top priorities.

Our Infirmary is staffed with qualified medical and nursing professionals who provide comfort and care to students in need. From minor injuries to sickness, our dedicated team ensures that every student receives the attention they deserve.

Regular medical checkups are conducted by our Medical Officer, covering a range of areas including eye, ENT, dental, and skin health. We partner with reputed hospitals to organize periodic checkups and seminars on various health-related issues.

Parents and guardians play a crucial role in keeping their children healthy. To assist them, we provide guidelines to promote good health habits:

1. Encourage personal hygiene, including regular handwashing.
2. Ensure nails are trimmed regularly.
3. Schedule regular haircuts for your child.
4. Encourage regular exercise and physical activity.
5. Ensure your child gets at least eight hours of sleep each night.
6. Provide a balanced and nutritious diet for your child.
7. Encourage the consumption of boiled or filtered water and provide a personal water bottle for your child.
8. Avoid street food and unhygienic eateries.
9. Deworm your child at least once a year under the guidance of a physician.
10. Schedule annual dental and ophthalmic checkups with specialists.
11. Ensure your child is up-to-date on immunizations as per the recommended schedule.
12. Inform the school if anyone in the family is suffering from a communicable disease.
13. Keep children with infectious diseases, such as conjunctivitis or measles, at home until they have fully recovered to prevent the spread of illness.
14. Children with chronic conditions like asthma or epilepsy should be under the continuous care of a specialist doctor, and their medical history should be documented in the school's records.

At Cambridge Convent School, we believe that a healthy student is a happy student. By working together, we can ensure the well-being of our students and create a safe and nurturing environment for all.
